Frequently Asked Questions & Policies

How far in advance should I book for bouquet preservations?

There is usually just me, Jocelyn, who works on your flowers. I am able to take 2 bookings per week if I don’t have other projects on hand, so please book as early as possible!

Do you take last minute bookings?

I do get a lot of last minute inquiries and do try my best to accommodate them when my schedule allows.

Can you preserve a bouquet that has began to wilt?

It is highly recommended for bouquets to be dropped off within 3 days of the event for optimal preservation. If your bouquet has began to wilt, send me a photo and I will be able to assess which stems can still be pressed or preserved in other ways. Not the entire bouquet will be needed for a bouquet preservation frame, so a frame can still be created even with a partially wilted bouquet.

Can you preserve a bouquet that is already dried?

It depends, please send me a photo for a quick assessment. If the condition allows, pre-dried bouquets are usually taken apart and rearranged into shadowbox displays.

Will pressed flowers change colours over time?

Yes, they absolutely will! Your flowers will continue to age gracefully - the colours will become muted over time but the shape and form are forever. The best way to slow this process is to keep your piece away from direct sunlight and moisture. Read more on which flowers preserve well.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

Shadowbox bouquet preservations have proven to be too fragile for shipping and are limited to Vancouver residents/visitors having their wedding in Vancouver who are able to pick up their shadowbox in person. Pressed bouquet preservations allow more flexibility, and can be shipped worldwide (US shipping is currently on pause). Small items like cards and Mini Flower Windows ship for free Canada-wide and can be upgraded to tracked shipping.
